The information below helps students understand the College of Business and UNLV's academic information and policies. Students should read these handouts, develop a list of questions, refer to the Undergraduate Catalog for the appropriate catalog year, and ask an academic advisor for assistance as necessary.
This information applies to:
- Freshmen
- Transfer students from another university
- Transfer students from another UNLV college (change of major)
- Current UNLV business students
- Students returning to UNLV
Minimum College of Business admission requirements upon admission to UNLV
- Entering Freshmen - 3.0 from high school
- Transfer students - 2.75 cumulative from all schools, as calculated by UNLV Admissions
- Students changing majors at UNLV - 2.75 UNLV GPA based on at least 12 academic credits earned at UNLV
