College of Business Alumni Association President Jim Ratigan and Dean Paul Jarley accept the Dean's Cup trophy after a triumphant win at the first annual Dean's Cup College Challenge

On February 26, 2009 College of Business Alumni Association members, faculty and business students competed against the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration Alumni Association members, faculty and hotel students in the first annual Dean's Cup College Challenge. The event took place at the Angel Park Golf Club putting course. Each college had multiple teams of two competing against teams of two from the rival college. It was followed by a reception in the clubhouse where it was announced that the first annual Dean's Cup was won by the College of Business. Paul Jarley, Ph.D., dean of the College of Business and Jim Ratigan, President of the College of Business Alumni Association were on hand to accept the Dean's Cup trophy. The event was a huge success, and participants from both colleges say they looked forward to next year's event.
