What inspired you to apply to be part of the Global Entrepreneurship Experience?I must admit that the first thing that inspired me to apply for the Global Entrepreneurship Experience was the generous amount of scholarship money. As I began to apply however, I realized that this could be a great opportunity for me. What the curriculum has to offer really appeals to me.
What do you hope to get out of the Global Entrepreneurship Experience?I hope to gain a new perspective on entrepreneurship and be able to learn from an engaging curriculum. By becoming a part of the G.E.E. I hope that it will be able to allow me to differentiate myself from others in my major.
What part of the G.E.E. appeals to you the most? The part that appeals to me the most would have to be the idea of being one of a few students who get the opportunity of learning from this unique program. The G.E.E. offers the experience that will help me get ahead.
Who inspires you professionally?
Personally I haven't found anyone in particular who has exceptionally inspired me in my career. I was president of DECA at my high school and I enjoyed and developed an interest in the business world. I wanted to turn my interest in the business world into a career.
What company or business do you admire the most? Why?There isn't a company that I admire in particular. All big companies started off small and worked their way into the business world, making a name for themselves. I admire the business companies that are where they are at because of the effort and talent that was placed into the business.
What part of the business world is most appealing to you?Within the business world, anything is possible. There are so many opportunities to do something great and to be able to express my ideas into a productive form.
If you are having a bad day or having trouble with a project, where do you turn for inspiration?I turn to my environment for inspiration. I might simply look outside my window or go driving around for a while. There's inspiration in all sorts of places. One just has to be open to finding it.
If you could have any job, no limitations, what would you do?I want to start my own company and become renowned in the business world. My company would become a common name in every household and be able to provide the best of services to its customers. However, at this moment, I'm not certain yet of what will be the main focus of the company.
What have you done (that you can confess to) that you never thought you'd do or be able to do?Honestly, I cannot think of anything that I have done that I never thought I'd be able to do. I like to try new things and learn from different experiences so there's nothing really that I thought Id never do.
