What inspired you to apply to be part of the Global Entrepreneurship Experience?
I have always wanted to create new things, and make money while doing so, and this seemed to be the program that would help me begin to build a profitable business, and give me the necessary skills with which to do so.
What do you hope to get out of the Global Entrepreneurship Experience? I hope to learn how to start a business, and make many new friends, as well as have a new and exciting experience.
What part of the G.E.E. appeals to you the most? The business end; my father and his father started a business together, and it has grown into a national corporation, and I wish to learn how to make my own business and run it well.
Who inspires you in regards of your career? I believe that I get most of my inspiration from myself and my family. I have always had my own drive, and my family have always been supportive and helpful in whatever I wanted to do.
What company or business do you admire the most? My dads company, because it started from nothing, run out of their garage, and now is a very successful mail order company with two locations and a national sales area.
What part of the business world is most appealing to you? The part where you create a need, fill the need, and make money.
If you are having a bad day or having trouble with a project, where do you turn for inspiration? My family, as well as being supportive, usually has a good idea what will help if I can't solve a problem.
If you could have any job, no limitations, what would you do? Inventing, and making the world a better place for it.
What have you done (that you can confess to) that you never thought you'd do or be able to do? I have sailed a tall ship, achieved master SCUBA certification at 15, gone on a 12 day 80 mile hike in New Mexico, and canoed 85 miles in Canada for a week. I learned that I could do anything that I wished if I set my mind to it.
