| Global Entrepreneurship Experience: Creativity Labs |
 |
Students in the Global Entrepreneurship Experience tested their engineering experience recently. The class was tasked with building an egg drop apparatus to protect a raw egg that is dropped from the top of Wright Hall on the campus of UNLV. This classic physics activity was to test the students in teamwork, leadership, creativity and project management.

Throughout the semester so far, the class has participated in several
lab sessions, which focus on experience-based, active learning to
foster development of creativity and innovation processes both
individually and as groups. The projects have included improvisation,
live cases, and poetry slams.
Students participate in a "Poetry Slam" exercise in class.

The G.E.E. class will be holding a film festival entitled Film It! on
Friday, November 20, 2009 from 1-4p.m. in the Marjory Barrick Museum
Theater. Students will be given a word and will make a 5-7 minute
video presenting that word. The public is invited to attend.
