The 2007 Nevada Business Hall of Fame was a huge success The College of Business and Deloitte & Touche would like to thank everyone who participated in this years event as we honored Jackie Gaughan and Michael Gaughan, Sr., The Cashman Family, Luther Mack, Jr., and Dr. Kitty Rodman.
They join other prominent Nevadans that have been inducted into the Nevada Business Hall of Fame: Bill Boyd, Hank Greenspun, Bill Harrah, Howard Hughes, Robert Lewis, Jerry Mack, Irwin Molasky, Si Redd, Jim Rogers, Glenn Schaeffer, Parry Thomas, J.A. Tiberti, Del Webb, Claudine Williams, and Steve Wynn.
The Nevada Business Hall of Fame Dinner and Induction Ceremony took place at the Wynn Resort on February 15, 2007. Before the dinner, entertainer Earl Turner performed while guests enjoyed cocktails hosted by Bally Technologies. Nina Radetich was again the Master of Ceremonies for the event and created personal and touching video biographies for each inductee that were shown during the ceremony.
The UNLV College of Business created the Nevada Business Hall of Fame to honor top business leaders who have significantly contributed to the economic prosperity of Nevada and brought positive recognition to the state. We are honored to induct these individuals into the Nevada Business Hall of Fame, said Richard Flaherty, dean of the College of Business. Their business and philanthropic contributions have helped to make Nevada a wonderful place to live and work.
