| Professor Emeritus Duane Clary Dies |

Duane Clary, professor emeritus of Accounting in the College of Business, died Sunday, July 6 at the age of 78. Professor Clary spent over 25 years at UNLV, teaching courses in both the undergraduate and master's levels before retiring in 1996.
While at UNLV, Professor Clary directed the Master's in Accountancy program and later served as chair of the department of Accounting. He also developed the graduate tax program and several graduate-level tax courses. He was well-respected by his students as well as his colleagues.
Funeral services for Duane Clary will be held on Saturday, July 12 at 10:00 a.m. at the Trinity United Church, 6151 W. Charleston.
