Constant Tra, Ph.DAssociate Director |

 Dr. Constant Tra received his M.S. and Ph.D in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Maryland. His main research interest is on evaluating distributional welfare impacts of large environmental changes using discrete choice equilibrium models. He is also interested in how urban, environmental and land use regulations affect households location choices and development patterns. His work on Land Use Regulation and the Provision of Open Space in Suburban Residential Subdivisions has been published in the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management. Dr. Tra's current research is on evaluating the welfare impacts of air quality improvements in the Los Angeles basin. |
