Bernard Malamud, Ph.D.

Professor
Professor Malamud, a graduate of Polytechnic University, Carnegie-Mellon University, and New School University, has taught a wide variety of courses since joining the UNLV faculty in 1968 ranging from micro- and macroeconomics at the introductory and graduate levels to location and environmental economics to management information systems and optimization techniques. His current teaching and research focuses on national and international monetary economics and economic development. Professor Malamud has taught in UNLV's study abroad programs in London, Turin, and Bilbao and has recently served on the Clark County Planning Commission. Dr. Malamud consults to the legal profession and the gaming industry.
