Djeto Assane, Ph.D.Associate Professor |

Dr. Djeto Assane was educated at the Universite d'Abidjan (Cote d'Ivoire) and the University of Colorado, Boulder (MA, PhD). His teaching areas are Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematical Economics and Microeconomics. Recently, he taught Econometrics as Visiting Faculty at the American Economic Association Summer Minority Scholarship Program at the University of Colorado at Denver (Summer 2000-2003) and Duke University (Summer 2006). His recent publications have appeared in the Southern Economic Journal, Journal of Policy Modeling, Journal of Socio-economics, Journal of Cultural Economics, Applied Economics, Applied Economics Letters, Journal of Development Studies, World Development, Applied Financial Economics and American Journal of Agricultural Economics. Dr. Assane is also a great mentor to students, many of whom have gone to prestigious Ph.D. programs nationwide.
