Admission Process

Candidates for admission will be evaluated on the following criteria:
  • Evidence of having been awarded a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Evidence of at least seven years of full-time work experience, of which at least the last three years must be in a key decision-making role
  • Personal Interview
  • Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)
Application Checklist
The application process starts with the completion and submission of these application items:
  1. Completed and signed application
  2. $100 non-refundable application fee
  3. Official Transcripts of all college-level course work previously taken. Official copies should be sent to:

  4. Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) - Make plans to take the GMAT as far in advance as practical. The test is given continuously throughout the year at selected test locations. Testing appointments can be made by contacting GMAT at 1-800-GMAT NOW or at mba.com. Applicants who have taken the test within the past five years should ask Educational Testing Service to send an official transcript to the MBA office at UNLV.
  5. Three letters of recommendation.
  6. A copy of your current resume
  7. Personal Statement - The personal statement should include a description of significant contributions you have made to your organization, and a well-articulated career plan. It should also include a discussion on your strengths and other attributes and how the EMBA experience will assist you in meeting your professional goals. The evaluation should be approximately two pages in length, double-spaced.

  8. A personal interview will be conducted by invitation, once all materials to complete the application packet are received by us.
