Joel D. Wisner, Ph.D.

Professor of Supply Chain Management

Dr. Wisner earned his Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management from Arizona State University in 1991. Prior to that time, he worked as an engineer in the oil industry in West Texas and the Louisiana Gulf Coast. He is currently keeping busy writing supply chain management textbooks. His research interests are in quality assessment and improvement strategies along the supply chain. His articles have appeared in numerous journals including Journal of Business Logistics, Journal of Operations Management, Journal of Supply Chain Management, Journal of Transportation, Production and Operations Management Journal, and Quality Management Journal.
