At the core of Marketing is the psyche of the buyer. Pricing,
promotion, distribution and product (or service) design are all
dependent on cutting-edge research to fully understand the "mind of the
marketplace". Globalization of markets, the dynamic nature of services
and diffusion of new technology have provided additional opportunities
and challenges for marketing strategists and researchers. In addressing
these issues, our department engages in the pursuit of nationally
recognized, "theory expanding" research published in high quality
journals. Through these research efforts, "first-hand" application of
research knowledge is brought into the classroom and is interwoven into
our commitment to high-quality teaching.
