Michael "Mike" LaTour, Ph.D.

Professor of Marketing and Department Chair
Mike LaTour is Professor of Marketing and Chair of the Department of Marketing. Prior to his arrival at UNLV in the Fall of 2004, he was the Torchmark Professor of Marketing at Auburn University. His research interests focus on consumer memory, psychophysiological response to advertising and gender issues in advertising. His research has appeared in a variety of journals including Journal of Marketing, Journal of Advertising, Journal of Advertising Research and the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science (main articles only, NOT "Marketing and the Law" section).
