Honghui Deng, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor
Dr. Deng received his Ph. D from the Red McCombs School of Business of the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Honghui Deng was a Visiting Professor in Marketing Department, Red McCombs School of Business of the University of Texas at Austin from 1997-1999. In Year 2003, He moved to Las Vegas as an Assistant Professor in the College of Business Administration of the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. He is currently working as consultant for several US companies which include Rapp Collins Inc. of Omnicom Group, The Innovation Creativity Capital Institute (IC2) and Texas Tech. Incubator, Timberline.com and Asian Commerce Association in Texas, USA.

Dr. Honghui Deng's research is diversity in theory, methodology, and applications of Management Information Systems, Economics, Finance/Risk Management, and Operations Research/Management. He is a pioneer in the field of real-time operations control and recovery, generalized and expanded the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). He has published many articles on various professional journals such as Socio-Economic Planning Sciences and European Journal of Operational Research. One of his Book/Chapter has been published by Kluwer Academic Publishers, He also worked as the Session Chair of The Institute of Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS).
