| MIS Department Ranks 20th Worldwide in Research Productivity |

A new study shows that from 2003-2007, research departments at just 96
universities, worldwide were able to publish two or more articles each
in MIS's most prestigious three journals: Management Information Systems Quarterly, Information Systems Research, and Journal of Management Information Systems.
UNLV's MIS Department researchers published 9 articles in these top
ranked journals to tie (with UC Riverside, UC Irvine, and Clemson
University) for 20th place worldwide.
A previous article showed similar results, ranking the department 13th in the US for the period 2001-5.
